Photography & Videography document your day in a way that nothing else can. As time passes and memories of the day fade away, your wedding media is one of the only keepsakes you will have. Your wedding photos and films ARE investments. An investment that builds in value as time goes on. Photos and videos are what help the memories feel alive 5, 10, 50+ years down the road! They allow you to relive the day and soak in the feelings of those moments! They are beautiful and tangible reminders of promises made, friends gathered, and quiet in between moments that you get to share together.
Wedding photo and video professionals create the most memorable experiences when their couples have a friendship with their lead photographer and are able to fully trust them to capture beautiful memories. Having a true relationship with our couples guarantees that we can deliver an incredible experience starting from the day we meet each other. We want to tell your love story from a friend's perspective, not a strangers.
Over and over and over again, our couples rave about their experience almost more than their media! Why? Because in order to capture those natural, genuine moments that show who you are, you have to feel comfortable with the person capturing them. The way you feel while being filmed heavily influences how you feel when you see yourself in the final film. I will walk you through different prompts and poses and give as much direction as needed so that you feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire day!

THE EP EXPERIENCE
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE EP EXPERIENCE & WHY?
We have structured our wedding experience very intentionally. Everything we offer and recommend is a strategic part of an overall experience that leads to what our couples ultimately desire: authentic, elegant and timeless images radiating genuine emotion. Our most intentional aspects of the Wedding Experience include:
- 6 HOUR MINIMUM:
We have found that for a wedding day, we need a minimum of 6 hours to capture the full story of your day with a stress-free timeline.
- COMPLIMENTARY ENGAGEMENT SESSION:
We include an engagement session complimentary because this is our opportunity to get to know you and empower you to feel comfortable in front of the camera.
- SECOND PHOTO/VIDEOGRAPHER:
My second shooter is a non-negotiable part of our wedding experience! The Wedding Experience wouldn't be complete without them! Plus, it allows for different angles and more pictures for you!

We Strive for Total Transparency
1. WHAT IS YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?
We love being both interactive and discrete throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when we will need to be in control to accomplish everything that needs to be done to keep everyone on schedule.
There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) We teach our couples how to pose and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from us!
2. HOW MANY IMAGES CAN I EXPECT FROM MY WEDDING?
We average 50-75 final images per hour of shooting throughout the day. This estimate is normally on the lower side since we tend to be over-shooters. We love delivering our client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. We believe in freely sharing our work because that is what we would want if we were in your shoes!
3. DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE? BACK UP EQUIPMENT?
Yes and Yes!! We have liability insurance and happy to provide it if your venue requires it. We also have equipment and business insurance. Our team members also have back up equipment to ensure that if something happens to one set of equipment, we can be ready! We routinely back up all of your images as soon as your session/wedding is over in three separate places to ensure they do not get lost!
4. WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY IMAGES?
We guarantee engagement sessions in 3 weeks and weddings in 8 weeks! We also provide sneak peeks within a week of each session! We wouldnt want to wait weeks and weeks to see a picture from our wedding, so we don't expect you to! All images are delivered in an online gallery with instructions for sharing, downloading and printing whenever you need! Galleries are available for up to one year and then become inactive. We recommend you download your images, but we can always grab those images as we keep them backed up forever.
5. WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?
EP Photography is based in Louisville, Kentucky. While we love our area, we also LOVE to travel! We travel at no charge anywhere within 60 miles of zip code: 40242. Beyond that, we have different types of travel fees depending on the distance which we can discuss over the phone during your consultation. If you're planning a destination wedding, EP Photography would LOVE to be a part of it!

Now that you've chosen your collection, it's time to make it official! Use the link at the end of this guide to fill out our a few questions about your wedding, and schedule a date with Emily to start planning your dream wedding experience!

cONTRACT & INVOICE
During our time together, we will make sure you've chosen the best collection to fit your needs and talk through our contract and invoice. After our date, we will send you your contract and invoice via email. We require a paid deposit of 25% (+ tax) and a signed contract to reserve your date! Please read our contract thoroughly, wedding days bring a lot of details, and we want to all be on the same page to ensure a smooth process for everyone involved. Once you've checked those boxes, you are officially an EP Bride!

eNGAGEMENT SESSION
Now that we've made it official, it's time to plan your complimentary engagement session! When we send your booking link, we'll also send a few resources that we've created to help make your "E-sesh" experience as easy, relaxed, and joyful as possible!

qUESTIONNAIRE
Three months before your wedding, I'll send you our questionnaire. Your questionnaire will help us be completely ready to best serve you, and help us create the perfect wedding day timeline! Having a timeline ensures a relaxed and smooth day.

Finalize your timeline
You'll receive one last email from me one week before your wedding! This email will have your personalized timeline and a few tips to help make your wedding day as low-stress and seamless as possible.

wEDDING dAY
All the hard work is done, and it's time to celebrate this momentous occasion in your lives together! On your wedding day, I'll be a beacon of calm encouragement, and document your day with a personable and heartfelt approach.

RECEIVE YOUR GALLERY
Your gallery of sneak peeks will be delivered within a week of your wedding, and your final gallery will be delivered within eight. Galleries expire after 1 year, but we will always have them in storage if something happens.
