Hi, I'm Emily Powell...

and I'm the face behind EP Photography! I'm a momma of two little ones named Jesse Alexander & Zoe Jane, wife to my best friend Jake, and a photographer passionate about documenting authentic and timeless weddings! I started my adventure into photography as a hobby, but realized quickly that this is what I want to do with my life.

Since the beginning of my photography career, I made a conscious decision that I wanted to LOVE what I do and do what I LOVE. What I love more than anything in this business is people. I am an extrovert, and one of my favorite parts about being a wedding photographer is getting to know my couples on a personal level. I want to be your friend so I can document your love story from a friend's perspective! People are my passion, and I strive to capture weddings in an authentic, moment-driven, & sentimental way that allows my couples to cherish these memories for years to come.

Whether you just started your journey into wedding planning or if you’ve been at it for months, deciding who will document one of the most important days of your life is an important one. When all the happy tears are dried, and the sparklers have been extinguished; beautifully captured images will be what you have to revisit the romance, emotion, and details of all of those little moments, and I’m truly honored you’re considering me for this special time in your life.
